One credit equals one processing second. We count processing seconds rather than files because file complexity varies greatly. A basic preflight check on a light PDF uses fewer credits than a multi-step processing plan on a large, complex file. Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance that recharges each month.

A thread is a dedicated processing lane reserved for your jobs. Unlike credit-based plans, where jobs share processing capacity, a thread guarantees your files are processed without queuing behind other customers. It suits high-volume or time-critical production.

A guided setup session with an Atomyx specialist: initial account configuration, a walkthrough of key features and basic integration guidance. On the Atomyx Prepare Starter plan onboarding is billed at the professional services rate; higher tiers include onboarding hours. Typical lead time from sign-up to go-live is one to two weeks for standard deployments.

A view is a configured perspective in Atomyx Manage: a filtered and sorted display of orders, jobs or files for a specific role or stage. A production manager might see all jobs awaiting approval, while an operator sees only the jobs assigned to their press.

Plug-ins link Atomyx Manage to your external systems: MIS or ERP, prepress software, e-commerce platforms, accounting, logistics and digital production devices. Each plug-in enables automated order routing, status synchronization and file exchange. Plug-ins also ship default transformers for their systems.

A user is a named login with access to Atomyx Manage, with roles and permissions. Each plan specifies a minimum number of users included in the base price.

A REST endpoint for programmatic job submission, so your webshop, MIS or customer portal can submit jobs automatically. All Atomyx Submit plans include API access.

Credits beyond your allowance are charged at your plan's overage rate and invoiced at month-end. There is no automatic upgrade. If you consistently exceed your allowance, we recommend a better-fitting plan at renewal.

No. Credits reset monthly, which keeps pricing clear and predictable. If you regularly have credits left, a lower tier may be more cost-effective.

Atomyx Prepare is a cloud API and does not have to replace your on-premise prepress software. It handles the automated, high-volume artwork processing that feeds production and works alongside existing tools. Atomyx Submit and Atomyx Manage work independently of Atomyx Prepare.
